The Goodness of God
Bill Johnson said something thought provolking last year, and I wanted to paraphrase it here:
God wants to reveal His goodness.
Moses met with God lots of times, but there was only one time his face shone. It was after he saw the goodness of God. Moses wanted to see God’s glory. God said that He would cover Moses in the cleft of the rock and then let all His goodness pass by.
Many past generations have trembled in fear of God. Fear because of His awesomeness. Fear because He is extreme in everything that He is. But I believe that God is raising up a generation of people that will tremble because if the goodness of the Lord.
I know as of late, I am constantly being reminded of just how good He is. I hope I get to see this generation.
