The Defining Message for 2008

A message from Lou Engle. God calls every generation to something specific. It's often not popular, even on the home field, as those from the "old specific" want to squash the "new specific". It's not that the new replaces the old, it's just that the Lord has emphasized a particular thing more in one time than another.

Justice and Righteousness have been on my heart for the last six months or so. Everytime I think about it, I get a picture of Themis and her scales of justice. The difference is, God is not blind. He will not turn a blind eye when He administeres his justice. It will be in all fullness and with all the righteousness of heaven. That's scary to me, and should be to you too.

This issue of abortion, is so much deeper than it first appears. It's roots and effects have shaped our nation more than we could even know.

God is great and His love infinite, which is why justice will come. May we stand blameless in that day, strong in His love, our hearts filled with His word.
